Update from Suzanne, one year later: "Things have turned around & are back on track! She turns 18 next week & I thank God that she is in a good place … it’s wonderful that you are working with parents of teens … it’s such a hard time, I know you were a big help to me. There's another thought that I kept close by that helped me to get thru the last couple of years. I told myself that the process of going from being a teen into the adult world was just as painful as going from the womb into the outside world. It's uncomfortable,

painful, scary & there’s a lot of screaming & crying .... but eventually it passes.

She is doing great and is a happy person again! I am so glad that you discouraged the idea of a boarding school. She would still be sitting there today....angry. ~Suzanne
